Critical Care Transport Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Transport Nurse to join our team at AMR Corp. As a Critical Care Transport Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during interfacility transportation, acting under the leadership and direction of the CCT Manager.
Responsibilities- Respond to patient care and/or critical care transport unit calls according to program standards.
- Provide high-quality routine and emergency nursing care of the patient in the transport environment in accordance with established standards of care, program standards, clinical guidelines, and appropriate physician orders.
- Perform a complete assessment on each transport patient and document all assessment findings, therapeutic interventions performed, and patient responses per policy on the Patient Care Record.
- Document all physician's transport orders and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in agency Continuous Quality Improvement activities and maintain knowledge of current critical care nursing practice.
- Develop and participate in continuing education and training activities for the entire Critical Care Transport Team.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, hospital staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- CA State Driver's License (Driving Record must be in compliance with AMR's Safety & Driving policy - proof required if conditional employment offer is made).
- CA RN License.
- American Heart Association BLS & ACLS Cards.
- PALS or PEPP Cards.
- ICS Courses: IS 100 (ICS 100), IS 200 (ICS 200), IS 700 (NIMS), IS 800 (NIMS).
- BSN or Bachelors in healthcare related field.
- Current professional critical care specialty certification (e.g. CEN, CCRN, CTRN, etc.).
- Continuing education and training in critical care transport.
- At least 1 year of current critical care experience (i.e., ICU, CCU, PACU, or ER), which includes the management of unstable adult cardiac patients, patients requiring mechanical ventilatory support, and patients requiring invasive hemodynamic monitoring.
