We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at the Pediatric Clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical staff in delivering high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide administrative and clinical support to medical staff in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Assist providers with patient examinations, testing, and procedures.
- Administer prescribed medication under the supervision of attending providers.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative tests and examinations of specimens.
- Document and report test results to medical providers.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program or equivalent experience.
- Basic Life Support certification within six months of hire.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and respond quickly to varying demands.
- Registration or Certification as a Medical Assistant.
- One year of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a related field.
The work environment is a normal clinical outpatient setting, and the position is frequently exposed to biohazards and communicable diseases.
