About Us:
Afinitas, a global market leader in pipe and precast concrete equipment, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead the Finance function as a proactive and strategic business partner to the CEO and management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and IT, with experience in a complex, global manufacturing environment.

Job Description:
Afinitas is a part of Barry-Wehmiller, a $3 billion organization with nearly 12,000 team members. The CFO will be responsible for providing strategy and operational oversight of Afinitas' IT function, as well as developing and executing business strategy. The role requires a strong understanding of capital-intensive business models and related ROI frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess organizational performance against best practice benchmarks and provide financial analysis to support business decisions.
  • Develop and implement financial tools and systems to provide critical visibility to the CEO and Board.
  • Oversee short and long-term financial planning, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Manage cash flow and forecasting, including developing a reliable cash flow projection process.
  • Establish credibility throughout the organization as an effective leader and developer of solutions to business challenges.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of BS/BA in Accounting or Finance; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with a focus on driving business growth and performance improvement.
  • Effective communication and partnership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
