About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Overhead Door Technician to join our team at DH Pace Company, Inc. in Tempe, Arizona. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial entry door hardware, as well as providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair commercial overhead doors, including roll-up doors, high-speed doors, and door hardware.
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install new commercial entry door hardware and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Identify opportunities to sell and quote products/services to customers, and provide exceptional customer service on every job.
  • Job Site Safety: Maintain a safe working environment and ensure that the job site is clean and clear of debris.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Physical Ability: Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs. independently, and the ability to bend, climb, and stand for an extended amount of time.
  • Experience: 1 year of commercial door experience preferred, with experience working with small motors and hand tools required.
  • Welding Experience: Previous welding experience or training required.
  • Technical Skills: Must be mechanically and technically inclined.
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
