Job Overview

The Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking an experienced Principal Computer Scientist to support the Navy in developing cutting-edge high-performance computing software and network architectures.

This position involves research and development of algorithms and tools, management of high-performance networks, information assurance, protocols, distributed network systems, Gig-E, Infiniband, TOS streams, and optical networking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing high-performance computing solutions
  • Designing and managing high-performance networks
  • Ensuring information assurance and security
  • Collaborating with research teams to advance networking technologies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
  • 12-15 years of experience in high-performance computing and related fields
  • DoD TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility

Salary:$140,000 - $160,000 per year
