Cardiovascular Sonographer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiovascular Sonographer to join our team at the County of San Bernardino, CA. As a Cardiovascular Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiogram examinations, as well as explaining procedures to patients and obtaining informed consent.

• Perform echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiogram examinations
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain informed consent
• Review, select, and store ultrasound images
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, and monitor patients before, during, and after testing
• Assist with the training of student technologists

• Current cardiac specific certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• One year of full-time experience as an ultrasound technologist in an acute care setting

• Experience in echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiograms
