Job Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality imaging services. This role supports the Radiologist in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, processing and transmitting images to PACS.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality imaging services to patients
Assist Radiologists in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Process and transmit images to PACS

Requirements

Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required
One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred
At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred
Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment preferred
Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required
Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT
Current BCLS (AHA) required
Proficient computer skills
