Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist

About the Role:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality imaging services. This role supports the Radiologist in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring accurate and timely results.
Responsibilities:
- Process and transmit images to PACS for review and analysis.
- Assist in the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals for imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
Requirements:
- Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
- One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
- At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.
- Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
- Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
- Current BCLS (AHA) required.
- Proficient computer skills.
