Role Summary:
The Automotive Technician plays a crucial role in accurately diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles. This position requires adherence to MAP guidelines and compliance with both dealership and manufacturer standards, as well as our internal company protocols.
Compensation: Competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $95,000 per year, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose vehicles based on appropriate certifications and experience levels.
- Execute tasks as outlined in the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with precision and efficiency.
- Communicate technical diagnoses and necessary repairs to non-technical individuals, including management and customers.
- Advise on essential services to maintain vehicle performance, ensuring all recommendations are documented in the customer file.
- Adhere to safety protocols and report any issues to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
- Maintain current ASE certifications and ensure timely renewal of any expiring credentials.
