Overview

Resources for Human Development is actively seeking dedicated Full-Time LPNs in the Monroe area. Various shifts are available, including Sunday to Wednesday and Thursday to Saturday options. The primary responsibility of the LPN involves overseeing, coordinating, and directly addressing any health-related concerns of program participants.

Essential Duties:
  • Maintain accurate nursing documentation and medication records.
  • Assist residents in understanding their medications, ensuring adherence to physician orders, and documenting in electronic MAR.
  • Deliver nursing care, including wound care, trach care, and diabetic counseling.
  • Evaluate residents' health and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with nursing and program staff, reporting significant issues to the Nurse Manager and Program Director.
  • Ensure confidentiality by maintaining discretion in all communications.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse license.
Physical Requirements:

Medium lifting requirements, including the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
