Clean Harbors is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Technician to join our team. As a Retail Technician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive environmental services to our customers, including collection and disposal of damaged, discarded, or recalled products, recycling of light bulbs, oil, oil filters, engine fluids, and other materials, and on-site cleanup activities.
Key Responsibilities- Health and Safety: Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers at each stop, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
- Logistics: Load, pack, and segregate materials and waste products, and prepare DOT shipping documents.
- Operations: Conduct projects/jobs according to site-specific Federal, State, and local regulations and health and safety plans, as well as Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc., policies and procedures.
- Quality Control: Ensure drum count is correct and that drum conditions are shippable in accordance with our company's policies and procedures.
- Valid Driver's License: Required.
- Strong Customer Service Skills: Ability to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Technical Skills: Ability to use a laptop, handheld, printer, and iPhone, and to perform physical functions per job requirements.
- Education and Training: Eligible to obtain a CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within 6 months of hire, company-paid.
