The focus areas include a variety of essential communication technologies, ranging in complexity:

  • Mobile voice and data networks designed for public safety
  • Advanced mobile communication devices
  • Mobile broadband networks and devices for public safety (LTE)
  • Integrated command and control systems

Key responsibilities may encompass:

  • Discovery of customer requirements
  • Development of technology strategies
  • Design of end-to-end system architectures
  • Creation of proposals
  • Conducting technical presentations for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrating equipment and software solutions, including configuration and testing

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • A proactive attitude with a solution-oriented mindset that fosters creativity and resourcefulness
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex topics for diverse audiences
  • A willingness to innovate and challenge conventional approaches
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to cultivate robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Familiarity with wireless communication principles and voice/data architectures, including public and private systems (e.g., APCO P25, LTE, 802.11, 3GPP 4G/5G, FirstNet/Frontline) is highly desirable
  • Understanding of Cloud (FEDRAMP), IP networking architecture, protocols, and security is advantageous
  • Knowledge of RF coverage predictions, microwave design, traffic/capacity modeling, and associated tools
  • Availability to work in the office a minimum of three days per week
  • Expected travel is less than 25%

This role requires working in high-security environments governed by stringent policies, necessitating successful completion of a comprehensive background check.
