Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapy Manager to lead our clinical therapy, social work, and interdisciplinary evaluation program. The successful candidate will oversee the operation of the program, coordinate the work of clinical professionals and support staff, and provide direct patient evaluation and counseling services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the provision of clinical therapeutic services in accordance with program objectives and clinical guidelines.
  • Develop, implement, and modify treatment protocols and clinical procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Provide direct patient consultation and care, developing and evaluating rehabilitative therapy programs as needed.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with University, State, and federal laws, policies, and regulations.
  • Develop and implement systems to maintain records on employees, equipment inventories, and compliance activities.
  • Perform and oversee academic/clinical research and associated activities, ensuring data integrity and compliance with protocol and standards.
  • Prepare grant proposals and manage contracts and grants for various projects.
  • Represent the organization at community and business meetings, promoting existing and new programs and policies.
  • Conduct clinical evaluation activities to enhance existing services and build capacity through shared knowledge and training.
  • Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, reading current literature, and attending in-services, meetings, and workshops.
  • Develop and administer the division's annual budget, monitoring and approving expenditures.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in a related field.
  • 5 years of directly related experience.
  • LPCC/CMHC or LCSW or LMFT licensure in New Mexico.
  • Bilingual English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo (non-essential).
Working Conditions

The Clinical Therapy Manager will work in a sedentary office environment with minimal hazard and physical risk. The position may be credentialed by the UNMH Credentialing Committee and is subject to an annual contract and performance appraisal.
