As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in checking in patients, scheduling appointments, answering billing questions, and managing patient medical records for our clinic. Roles may vary based on the size of the clinic(s).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional service to all customers
  • Greet patients, check them in and out, and ensure demographics and insurance information are accurate
  • Collect co-pays and adhere to cash handling policies
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and route calls appropriately
  • Schedule appointments, verifying visit type and primary care provider
  • Manage waiting room cleanliness and communicate with patients
  • Work with back office staff to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Resolve service issues and complaints, deferring to management or clinical personnel when necessary
  • Assist co-workers and team members with duties when requested

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Beginner level of proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with data analysis software
  • 1+ years of medical front desk experience
  • 1+ years of electronic medical record experience
  • 1+ years of health plan insurance knowledge
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
