We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Operations Manager to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy, ensuring efficient workflow, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring they are trained and equipped to provide excellent patient care.
- Oversee the processing of prescriptions, including patient registration, data entry, and medication preparation.
- Develop and implement processes to improve pharmacy efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Lead performance management of technicians, including coaching, training, and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure our pharmacy remains compliant and competitive.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
- At least one year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
