Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Project Manager for our Civil Division at DiMaio Concrete & Construction. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in managing concrete construction projects, demonstrating a proven track record in overseeing all aspects from scheduling to financial management. Responsibilities include light estimating, managing change orders, coordinating project activities, and supervising billing processes to guarantee the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply construction project management principles effectively, focusing on scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Utilize estimating skills to evaluate construction costs accurately, particularly in concrete-related projects.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of concrete construction methods, materials, and relevant industry standards.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication abilities, engaging effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Maintain strong organizational skills, ensuring attention to detail while managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Employ critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address challenges efficiently, even in high-pressure situations.
  • Showcase leadership capabilities, fostering a collaborative environment while managing teams.
  • Leverage technology proficiency, including construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks in a dynamic work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete construction project management.

- PMP certification or equivalent credentials are advantageous.
