Spanish-English Legal Interpreter

Job Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled Spanish-English legal interpreter to join our team at the New Mexico Federal Public Defender. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of interpreter experience and be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and fluent interpretation services in Spanish and English for court proceedings and other legal matters.
- Work closely with attorneys and other staff members to ensure effective communication and case outcomes.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide high-quality services to clients.
