Skilled Nursing Care Specialist

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Regency Park of Carroll. As an RN/LPN, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to our residents, ensuring that their medical and personal needs are met in a safe and supportive environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Nursing Care: Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, treating wounds, and monitoring vital signs.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans for each resident, taking into account their unique needs, preferences, and health conditions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the care team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive, individualized care for each resident.
- Education and Support: Educate residents and their families on health conditions, care needs, medications, and wellness strategies to promote better outcomes and a higher quality of life.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident health status, treatments, medications, and progress in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency situations, assessing the situation and providing appropriate care or assistance as needed.
- Quality Control and Safety: Ensure that infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies are followed to provide a safe environment for residents and staff.
Requirements and Qualifications
- RN or LPN Licensure: Current and valid licensure in the state of Iowa.
- CPR/BLS Certification: Current certification.
- Experience: Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare settings is preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits and Compensation
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
