Job SummaryThis role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality patient care while building long-term relationships with patients and their families. As a Dialysis Care Specialist, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide empathetic and compassionate care, leveraging your nursing skills and knowledge to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease, including administering treatments, monitoring vital signs, and conducting patient observations.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, taking into account patients' medical histories, medication regimens, and lifestyle factors.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support to empower them to take an active role in their care.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification preferred.
- Experience working in an ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg setting a plus.
- A competitive salary range of $65,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
