Job Summary

HealthEcareers - Client is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join their team on a travel assignment. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures to diagnose and treat patients with heart conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures to diagnose and treat patients with heart conditions.
  • Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment, including transducers and other accessories.
  • Develop and implement plans for patient care, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient information and test results in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
  • RDCS or RCVT certification required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • 1 year experience in both basic and advanced cardiac imaging procedures required.
  • ARDMS cardiac echo certification required.
  • Experience with Echocardiology US system and all transducers, including transesophageal, arterial and/or vascular US experience required.
