Leidos Dynetics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to join our Space Division team. As a Lead Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting defense and civil space systems, leveraging digital engineering and systems engineering practices to identify challenges and formulate candidate solutions within complex, lunar systems and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage system requirement application and updates from Task Order, Specifications, and Test Plans
  • Support verification and traceability of deliverables back to System Requirements
  • Assist in development of verification plans and process improvements
  • Facilitate configuration management of the technical data package
  • Develop and maintain a clear understanding of overall system interdependencies and interfaces
  • Implement creative solutions to ensure program requirements are upheld
  • Identify, mitigate, and resolve risks
  • Coordinate systems engineering with the customer
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution with 8+ years of experience or Master's Degree with less than 6+ years of experience
  • Familiarity with CAMEO
  • Experience with system-level requirements
  • Detailed understanding of the top-down systems engineering process for architecture development and bottoms-up verification
  • Solid understanding and intuition of the functionality and interdependency of complex physical systems
  • Experience applying systems engineering practices to support space programs with unique developmental constraints
  • Solid understanding and intuition of the functionality and interdependency of aerospace systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work with the customer to clarify program challenges and/or system requirements
  • Ability to stay focused and succeed in dynamic and fast-paced environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
  • Organizational skills to document work and interface with team members to ensure flow of information
Additional Requirements:
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance
