We're seeking a skilled and experienced facilities maintenance professional to join our team at Scott Manufacturing Solutions, Inc. as a Custodian III. This role will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our buildings.


Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain all building surfaces, including floors, walls, and ceilings.
  • Empty trash and recycling bins on a regular basis.
  • Restock cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Dust and clean office furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Sweep and mop floors daily.
  • Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning tasks as required.
  • Wax and polish floors as necessary.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Report any hazards or maintenance issues to management immediately.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math skills and ability to track inventory.
  • Experience operating commercial cleaning equipment.
  • Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and cleaning methods.
