Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Development Engineer to join our Enterprise Technology team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks and tools to automate network design, deployment, and operational management processes.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automation frameworks and tools to automate network design, deployment, and operational management processes.
  • Work closely with network and security engineers to translate network security requirements into automated workflows.
  • Develop and maintain network device templates and configurations.
  • Implement and manage network automation solutions using tools such as Ansible and Python.
  • Integrate automation tools with other systems for monitoring and configuration control.
  • Code review, testing, and validation of automation scripts and tools to ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation scripts and network operations.
  • Conduct training sessions and documentation to upskill staff in the use of network automation tools and best practices.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of recent and continuous experience at minimum of a mid-level network engineer.
  • 3+ years coding, scripting for complex networking environments.
  • 3+ years demonstratable experience with tooling, orchestration, and automation in a Linux environment (Python, Ansible).
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with networking cloud and on-premises based infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with the Juniper networking platform (JNCIS-DevOps a plus).
  • Familiarity with the Palo Alto security platform.
  • Experience in aerospace, corporate, industrial and manufacturing environments.
