Key Duties:
- Support the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing daily housekeeping functions, ensuring all hotel areas comply with cleanliness standards.
- Lead and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping team, including room attendants, public area cleaners, and laundry staff.
- Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and service areas to uphold quality and cleanliness benchmarks.
- Train, mentor, and develop housekeeping personnel, providing direction and support to ensure high performance and compliance with hotel policies.
- Assist in planning and assigning daily responsibilities to housekeeping staff, optimizing labor efficiency.
- Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, collaborating with the Executive Housekeeper to reorder as necessary.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
- Work in conjunction with other departments, such as the front desk and maintenance, to guarantee smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of housekeeping policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Participate in performance reviews, disciplinary measures, and other HR-related activities as needed.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Experience in customer service or guest-facing roles.
- Background in cleaning within a customer-centric environment.
- Prior experience in the hospitality sector as a room attendant or similar position is preferred.
- Supervisory experience is a plus.
- Effective communication skills are essential.
- Ability to multitask and interact with individuals under pressure.
