Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Spokane, Washington. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting students' academic success by helping them develop the necessary skills for participation in school activities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' functional abilities and determine their specific needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and objectives tailored to each student's unique requirements, ensuring they can actively engage in school life.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, implementing evidence-based interventions to enhance their motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living abilities.
  • Collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment for each student.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights and coordinate care.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist (OT).
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Experience working in a school-based setting is preferred but not required.
