Job Summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled Integrated Mental Health Therapist III to join our Behavioral Health Department in Lynnwood, WA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing assessment, brief intervention counseling, and consultations with primary care to ensure comprehensive patient-centered care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop treatment plans with patients, in consultation with other staff, to address identified emotional needs and behavioral problems.
  • Gather information regarding past mental health services to be used in the individual's treatment plan development.
  • Refer patients to psychiatric services as appropriate.
  • Provide brief individual counseling, in coordination with other systems, as needed.
  • Provide suicide risk assessment and develop treatment plans to address suicidal ideation or gestures.
  • Use case management, as needed, and build community support to provide follow through.
  • Provide other crisis stabilization as needed.
  • Ensure that quality and performance requirements based on grants, contracts, and organizational priorities are met.
Requirements
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work which includes coursework in psychological diagnostics.
  • 3 or more years of experience in the field.
  • Must meet the criteria of a Mental Health Professional (MHP).
  • Must hold and maintain an active Washington State Affiliated Counselor License or a Mental Health Associate License.
  • Experience with mental health evaluation of children and experience with evidence-based models of treatment is a plus.
  • Must be comfortable working with computers, Microsoft Office, and other software.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish highly desirable.
