Position Overview:

As a member of the Pipeline Construction team, your role will involve engaging in physical labor at major construction sites. Your duties will encompass operating various tools, preparing work areas, excavating trenches, erecting structures, and ensuring the safety of the work environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Achieve project goals in accordance with specifications and contractual obligations
  • Oversee cost management, productivity, change orders, and equipment tracking
  • Ensure compliance with installation standards and safety protocols
  • Advocate for and supervise team safety
  • Prepare locations for effective construction operations
  • Remove debris and hazardous materials
  • Assist in the installation of piping systems
  • Construct temporary structures and position traffic signage
  • Operate and maintain construction machinery
  • Mentor new employees and apprentices
  • Utilize tools to shape materials as necessary
  • Execute Operator Qualification tasks and plastic pipe fusion
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and report incidents without delay

Qualifications:

Desired Education: High school diploma

Desired Experience: Familiarity with gas installation methods and standards, operator qualifications, fusion certification, and labor experience.

Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and perform strenuous physical tasks in field conditions. The capacity to move quickly and sustain energy levels is crucial.
