The position requires caring for patients who require extended medical care in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include providing care for 5-6 patients, adjusting and performing duties as needed, and monitoring and administering medications. You will also educate patients and families on surgical processes and manage their illness or injury. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, record and interpret electronic displays, and notify medical team members of any irregularities.

The ideal candidate will have 18 months of recent experience in a Long Term Acute Care setting, with expertise in Vents, Trachs, Drips, EG Tubes, and reading Tele-strips. They will also possess active RN licensure, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS & ACLS certifications, and excellent communication skills.
