About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Merchandise Associate to join our team at HomeGoods. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to all operational and merchandise standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and other areas as assigned.
  • Process customer purchases and returns accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with precision.
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs to customers, providing information and answering questions as needed.
  • Support and participate in store recovery efforts, maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and colleagues.
  • Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage with customers and provide a positive experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support business needs.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation, and working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possesses a positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
