Job Overview

The Clinical Case Planner plays a critical role in supporting customer surgeons in the pre-operative surgical planning process. This involves utilizing our TPLAN 3D planning workstation and software to generate 3D bone models, plan implants, and size and position them for optimal results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process pre-operative CT scans using TPLAN Workstation and proprietary planning software to produce high-quality case templates.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Support team to ensure seamless integration of the TPLAN Workstation and upload portal.
  • Adapt to ongoing software and implant module changes, providing feedback and bug reporting to the development team.
  • Assist the field sales team in demonstrating the product to surgeons, customer prospects, and trade show attendees.
  • Communicate effectively with the Case Planning and surgical teams to ensure accurate and complete surgical plans.
  • Conduct quality checks of surgical plans under the guidance of senior case planners, ensuring adherence to established guidelines.
  • Represent the company with professionalism, maintaining our market brand/image as a world leader in medical robotics.
  • Perform moderate record keeping and data entry, including weekly/monthly reporting of case metrics.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or 1+ years of experience in a medical/surgical field or medical device industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to make sound decisions quickly in a high-pressure setting.
  • Strong analytical skills, initiative, and problem-solving ability, with a high level of integrity and work ethics.
  • Attendance, punctuality, and responsiveness are essential functions of the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with orthopedics, specifically Total Knee Arthroplasty, Surgical Robotics, and navigation systems.
  • Experience with Atlassian products and JIRA.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position and operate office equipment for a prolonged period.
  • Physical activities include constant manual dexterity, moving about the work site, and/or handling objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
  • Occasionally work around moving mechanical parts.
  • Must be able to work in a schedule that commensurate with business operation, including work during weekends, holidays, and/or times outside of normal business hours.
  • Must be able to travel as business necessitates (up to 10%).
