Position Overview

McFarland Clinic, P.C. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Ultrasound Technologist. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a commitment to patient care, teamwork, and excellence in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

The Ultrasound Technologist will:

  • Conduct diagnostic medical sonograms to accurately illustrate the anatomy being examined.
  • Perform and document all obstetrical and gynecological ultrasounds within the OB/GYN department.
  • Assist physicians with sonohysterograms and ultrasound-guided interventions.
Educational Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited program in diagnostic medical sonography.
  • Graduation from an AMA-approved ultrasound course.
Licensure and Certification
  • ARDMS certification in OB/GYN is required.
  • RDMS (OBGYN) certification following ARDMS.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification is mandatory.
Work Schedule

Days: Monday through Friday

Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Experience

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in OB/GYN is preferred, though training will be provided as necessary.
