Key Responsibilities

The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of California, Irvine invites applications for a Medical Physicist position. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing quality assurance and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Representing the department on hospital leadership committees to drive quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Developing and sustaining a program focused on patient safety, process improvement, and professional outcomes assessment.

The successful candidate will possess a Ph.D. or equivalent in Medical Physics or a related field, along with clinical experience in clinical Medical Physics. They will demonstrate excellent people skills and a passion for leading innovative research, teaching, and service efforts.
