The Breast Imaging Specialist is responsible for conducting mammography procedures in accordance with physician directives, employing advanced imaging technology while considering the unique needs of each patient, including age-related factors. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and clinical judgment to ensure high-quality imaging outcomes.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education that fulfills certification, licensing, or registration requirements.
  • Oregon Radiographer License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
  • National Registered Technologist - Mammography certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
