Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Open Heart Nursing Career Opportunity

As a pediatric intensive care unit open heart nurse with Cross Country Nurses, you will have the opportunity to work with children of all ages who are undergoing open-heart surgery. Your role will involve monitoring their health and providing necessary care, possibly including life-saving interventions. Due to the scope of responsibility, you will generally only be assigned a few patients at any given time, allowing you to manage complicated cases.
Using patients' health histories and current diagnoses, you will develop a personalized patient care plan, implement these treatments, and evaluate how the patient responds, working with the healthcare team to make any necessary adjustments. This role requires a high level of expertise and compassion, as you will be responsible for the health and well-being of your patients.
The estimated salary for this position is around $85,000-$110,000 per year, based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week. This is a competitive salary that reflects the level of expertise and responsibility required for this role.
