We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Services Specialist to join our team at Youth Villages. As a Social Services Specialist, you will work with at-risk youth and families to provide counseling and support services. Your role will involve providing in-home counseling services, managing a small case load of four to six families, and collaborating with youth, family, teachers, and other community members to achieve success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home counseling services to at-risk youth and families
- Manage a small case load of four to six families to provide quality counseling
- Collaborate with youth, family, teachers, and other community members to achieve success
- Attend three weekly meetings for professional development to enhance clinical skills
Requirements:
- Masters degree in social services field preferred, Bachelor's degree in social services field required
- Experience working with at-risk youth and/or families in a volunteer, internship, or paid position
- Strong writing skills and experience with electronic documentation
