Job Summary

The Retail Territory Manager will be responsible for enhancing Direct Store Delivery (DSD) execution, growing Mondelēz brand sales, and providing direction to the retail execution team. Key responsibilities include delivering against monthly and quarterly sales objectives, ensuring execution of sales priorities, and utilizing strong selling skills to secure incremental opportunities.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need 3-5 years of selling experience, excellent understanding of business processes and systems, and the ability to perform physical demanding work in a fast-paced environment. You must also have a flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays, and be able to travel regularly.

What We Offer

As a Retail Territory Manager at Mondelez International, you can expect a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on your location and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver against monthly and quarterly sales objectives
  • Ensure execution of sales priorities and provide direction to the retail execution team
  • Utilize strong selling skills to secure incremental opportunities and grow the business
  • Provide on-site consultation and sales expertise to customers
  • Territory execution planning: Determine customer growth opportunities and tailor fact-based sales presentations to store needs
  • Establish and maintain rapport with key store personnel to grow business and identify incremental opportunities
  • Manage a team of Full-Time and Part-Time Sales Service Representatives, including scheduling, recruiting, hiring, coaching, and training
  • Communicate plans and effectively deploy merchandising resources within territory budget to build sales volume
  • Work with customers and/or Field Operations Workers to ensure sufficient product is ordered to support consumer take away
  • Directly manage in-store execution processes to minimize waste and unsaleables
  • Strategically plan and execute store call/visit cadence to foster store-level relationships and sell as needed

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license
  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree highly preferred
  • A flexible work schedule is required, including weekends and holidays
  • 3-5 years of selling experience, including a strong sales background and excellent understanding of business processes and systems
  • Ability to perform physical demanding work in a fast-paced environment and meet defined physical activities
  • Successful completion of drug test, MVR check, and general background check
