Key Responsibilities:- Facilitating effective communication with attorneys, clients, insurance representatives, and other stakeholders regarding assigned cases.
- Exhibiting key performance metrics and driving tasks to completion with minimal oversight.
- Engaging daily with insurance and health adjusters concerning policies and coordination of statements.
- Collaborating with legal support staff and guiding clerks and assistants to optimize workflow.
- Possessing a thorough understanding of subrogation liens and effectively disputing unrelated charges.
- Accurately completing balance sheets that reflect payments and adjustments.
- Maintaining regular client contact regarding treatment, scheduling, and wage loss inquiries.
- Assisting in communication between clients and adjusters concerning property damage coverage.
- Working under the direct supervision of a Lead Case Manager.
The Litigation Coordinator must be able to perform tasks in an office environment, which includes operating a personal computer, handling files, and managing filing systems. This may require lifting files, opening cabinets, and standing or bending as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:- High School Diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal in personal injury law.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and related processes.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated patience and understanding.
- High self-motivation to drive workflow.
- Professional work ethic with a collaborative attitude.
- 3 or more years of experience as a personal injury paralegal.
- Paralegal Certification or relevant coursework.
- Experience with Neo Needles.
- Public Notary certification in North Carolina.
