Job Overview

Position Summary: The Network Systems Administrator will oversee the implementation, administration, and management of various technologies while leading small to medium-scale projects within their area of expertise. This role will involve collaboration with fellow engineering team members and other cross-functional teams.

NOTE: This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for three days of remote work and two days in the office, following the completion of onboarding.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary duties include supporting multi-server environments, server-based applications, and technologies such as Microsoft Teams/Voice administration, Microsoft Exchange, M365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, PowerShell scripting, Citrix/VDI, endpoint management, file storage, and directory services.
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency with Windows Server technologies, server and application monitoring, IT security, PowerShell scripting, and troubleshooting to identify root causes of issues, along with a solid understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud solutions.
  • Collaborate within a team setting to manage projects and produce comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Assist technical teams with escalated support inquiries and participate in an on-call support rotation for critical issues.
  • Adhere to and comply with the organization's policies, procedures, and strategies to deliver efficient and effective service to both internal and external clients.
  • Make informed policy and operational decisions within designated authority levels.
  • Contribute to and maintain written policies, programs, procedure manuals, surveys, and training materials for the organization.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure compliance with service levels and contractual obligations.
  • Understand and comply with all applicable organizational policies, laws, and regulations. Complete compliance training and follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report any compliance issues or violations of laws or regulations as outlined in the organization's policies.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental aspect of this role.
  • Perform additional job-related duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of progressive experience in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that supports the successful execution of key responsibilities.
  • Microsoft certifications are preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

Work Environment:
This role primarily involves indoor work with occasional exposure to outdoor elements or hazards. The workload is medium, requiring the ability to lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds frequently and exert up to 75 pounds of force occasionally. Some travel may be necessary. This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement under the work-from-home guidelines following onboarding.
