Position Overview:

As a key member of the sanitation crew, you will be tasked with executing essential cleaning and sanitizing procedures on designated machinery and areas for which you have received specific training. Your primary focus will be on maintaining safety standards while utilizing industrial-grade sanitizers and equipment to ensure compliance with USDA cleanliness regulations. We seek dedicated and responsible individuals who thrive in a team-oriented environment to accomplish shared objectives. This is a full-time position offering weekly compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitization of areas post-processing.
  • Work on wet and slippery surfaces daily.
  • Utilize ear protection as necessary.
  • Common Chemicals Used: Formaldehyde, disinfectants, lubricants, and Virocid.
  • Safety: Adherence to all relevant safety protocols is expected.
Key Responsibilities:

Physical Requirements: Employ safe lifting practices.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
  • Overhead lifting is a requirement.
  • Regularly required to stand for the majority of the shift on concrete flooring; walk; sit; manipulate objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; maintain balance; stoop; bend; and communicate effectively.
  • Vision capabilities necessary for the role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Equipment: High-pressure hoses will be utilized.
  • Work Environment: Must be prepared to work on wet, slippery surfaces and in varying temperature conditions, including hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold environments.
  • Required Personal Protective Equipment: Safety glasses, goggles, face shields, chemical-resistant gloves, waterproof aprons, and rubber boots are mandatory when handling chemicals.
