Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Pharmacy Technician to join our team at H-E-B. As a Lead Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for leading a team of pharmacy technicians and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of pharmacy technicians and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Assist pharmacists with patient care and medication management
  • Manage pharmacy operations, including inventory management and ordering
  • Process prescriptions and maintain accurate records
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to patient inquiries
  • Participate in training and development of pharmacy technicians
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy standards and regulations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of pharmacy experience required
  • 1+ year of experience as an active retail Certified Pharmacy Technician required
  • Active State of Texas registration as certified pharmacy technician (CPhT) required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
Working Conditions
  • Work in a retail pharmacy environment
  • Stand for extended periods and lift 30 lbs or more
  • Use arms and hands in repetitive motion
  • Meet specific vision requirements for this job
