Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Class A CDL driver to join our team at Quality Carriers. As a local truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods within a 250-mile radius, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe driving record.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor trailer within a designated route, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the safe transportation of goods, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and other drivers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Meet or exceed company safety standards, including adherence to hours of service regulations.
Requirements
  • Must have a valid Class A CDL with 1 year of tractor trailer experience in the last 3 years or 1 year of tanker experience in the last 10 years.
  • Must have 5 years of safe driving experience with no incidents.
  • Must have tanker and hazmat endorsements.
  • Must have 3 years of recent hazmat experience.
  • Must be MSHA certified or willing to obtain.
  • Must have a clean driving record with no alcohol or drug-related convictions in the past 10 years.
  • Must be willing to undergo a DOT physical, pulmonary function test, and drug screen.
