Woodlands at Canterfield, a newly established Assisted Living and Memory Support community, is seeking a proactive Facilities Maintenance Technician responsible for the upkeep and servicing of all HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical installations, and emergency apparatus. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience in carpentry, drywall repair, painting, equipment maintenance, and technology setup.

This role is part-time, requiring 20 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct routine and preventive maintenance and repairs

2. Clear snow and ice from pathways, staircases, and entrances

3. Maintain the grounds, parking lots, and driveways

4. Review and execute work orders efficiently

5. Foster positive relationships with residents, staff, and colleagues

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent, or completion of trade school with HVAC certification

2. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience

3. Energetic and professional demeanor with outstanding interpersonal abilities

4. Strong communication and customer service skills

5. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

6. Compassionate and understanding approach to eldercare
