We are seeking a Full-time Leasing Consultant to support our 153-unit community. This role will also involve assisting at our affiliated properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in all facets of community operations, reporting to the Regional Manager/Vice-President.
Qualifications
  • At least one year of experience in a leasing role.
  • Strong background in leasing and marketing, along with exceptional customer service skills.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience with community budgeting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and internet applications; familiarity with ResMan and Knock Software is a plus.
Skills and Abilities
  • Bilingual proficiency.
  • Ability to assess and meet community needs with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Capability to address unexpected challenges and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Understanding of legal documents related to lease management and rent collection.
  • Intermediate math skills for financial reporting and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of property operations, especially regarding lease terms and contract enforcement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
Customer Service Excellence
  • Provide outstanding customer service to prospects and residents.
  • Engage in leasing training sessions.
  • Conduct property tours and assist with rental applications and credit checks.
  • Prepare lease agreements and renewal documents according to established standards.
  • Conduct audits of lease files.
  • Follow up with new residents to ensure satisfaction.
  • Research market conditions and competitor offerings.
  • Maintain social media presence by posting regularly.
  • Ensure all listings are current and accurate.
  • Help organize community events and maintain resident engagement programs.
  • Identify areas for operational improvement and propose enhancements.
  • Conduct regular community inspections to ensure optimal appearance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Quality Assurance and Financial Management
  • Regularly inspect community areas to maintain standards.
  • Participate in community upkeep and maintenance.
  • Ensure all service requests are completed promptly.
  • Keep property management software updated with relevant information.
  • Recommend adjustments for scheduled rent increases.
