Job Summary: We are seeking a full-time Medical Transcription Specialist responsible for performing a variety of clerical duties requiring experience and knowledge of general office procedures. This includes typing and preparing correspondence, records, transcription, reports and other documents as requested. Establishing and maintaining effective filing systems is also a key responsibility. Additionally, the selected candidate will assist with projects as requested by assigned physicians or managers.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • A High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • An Associate Degree or some college-level education.
  • Previous medical office experience.
  • Previous transcription experience.
  • Taken courses in anatomy and physiology, disease processes, and basic pharmacology.
