Hotel Front Desk Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Star2 Hotels Inc. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of front office staff.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the front desk, reservations, and guest services teams.
- Ensure that all front office duties are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train, cross-train, and retrain front office staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
- Evaluate the job performance of each front office employee and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
- Participate in the selection of front office personnel and ensure that all new hires are properly trained and integrated into the team.
- Ensure that all front office staff are attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and other employees.
- Resolve guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously.
- Monitor and maintain accurate room status information and communicate it effectively to the team.
- Review and complete credit limit reports, check cashiers in and out, and verify banks and deposits daily.
- Enforce all cash handling, check-cashing, and credit policies.
- Conduct regularly scheduled meetings of front office personnel to discuss performance, provide feedback, and set goals.
- Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily, analyzing rate variance, and monitoring credit reports.
- Monitor high-balance guests and take appropriate action.
- Monitor all V.I.P 's special guests and requests.
- Maintain required pars of all front office and stationery supplies.
- Review daily front office work and activity reports generated by Night Audit.
- Review Front Office log book and Guest feedback forms on a daily basis.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 months of previous experience in customer service, front desk service, or other related fields.
- Ability to build rapport with guests.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bonus pay.
- Pay for off-duty calls.
