We are seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in the Engineering Industry.

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional to apply their knowledge and skills in machine design, process engineering, AutoCAD, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role and a proven track record of success in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing systems and processes using your knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling, production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
  • Designing and implementing complex manufacturing processes and equipment using AutoCAD, ensuring that all processes are efficient, cost-effective, and meet all relevant safety standards.
  • Using your expertise in process engineering to identify and implement process improvements, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
  • Applying principles of continuous improvement to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborating with design engineering and other functions to finalize product specifications, resolve manufacturing issues, and achieve project objectives.
  • Conducting root cause analysis of manufacturing issues to prevent reoccurrence and improve overall production efficiency.
  • Training and guiding production personnel on new processes and equipment to ensure smooth implementation and adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on machine design, process engineering, and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design and manufacturing software.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements and cost reductions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve manufacturing and process issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or a similar continuous improvement methodology is highly desirable.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country without the need for sponsorship.
