Position Overview

The Employee Culture Oversight Manager is responsible for ensuring a positive and effective workplace environment through the management of employee concerns and cultural initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Program Management:

Lead the Employee Concerns program, ensuring that employee issues are addressed promptly and effectively. Develop and implement comprehensive policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Analyze data trends in employee concerns to identify opportunities for improvement. Prepare insightful reports and presentations for senior management, showcasing key findings and strategic recommendations.

Team Leadership:

Guide and mentor a team of Employee Concerns Consultants, fostering a supportive and collaborative team culture. Provide professional development opportunities and training programs focused on employee relations, regulatory compliance, and safety culture. Ensure that all team members are well-versed in processes and remain informed about significant regulatory changes.

Regulatory Engagement:

Act as the primary liaison with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for all Requests for Information related to NRC-referred allegations. Ensure clear, timely, and transparent communication with the NRC while maintaining thorough documentation of all interactions.

Investigation Oversight:

Supervise all investigations conducted by the Employee Culture Oversight organization, ensuring they are comprehensive, impartial, and adhere to established protocols. Review and approve investigation reports, supporting the identification of necessary corrective actions and conducting closure quality reviews.

Safety Culture and Performance Support:

Enhance Nuclear Safety Culture assessments and Performance Trending initiatives across the organization. Collaborate with various departments to develop and implement programs that strengthen safety culture. Monitor the effectiveness of these initiatives and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Leadership Engagement:

Maintain ongoing engagement with all levels of leadership to monitor and enhance the nuclear safety culture. Provide regular updates on employee concerns and related initiatives, advising leadership on best practices and emerging trends in employee relations.

Basic / Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or a High School diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong ability to engage with leadership at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in investigations and regulatory engagement.
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience handling confidential information related to personnel or regulatory investigations.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
