Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Thoroughly clean, dust, vacuum, and mop rooms and bathrooms according to IHG standards and procedures.
  • Efficient Room Cleaning: Clean rooms in a timely and efficient manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Supply Management: Stock assigned housekeeping cart with cleaning supplies and room amenities.
  • Guest Services: Replenish guest amenities in rooms as needed, maintain clean and organized housekeeping storage, and communicate any maintenance concerns to the maintenance department.
  • Waste Management: Transport waste and trash to the proper disposal area.
  • Lost and Found: Turn in Lost and Found items to the front desk.
  • Guest Confidentiality: Maintain guest confidentiality and respond to guest requests or concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Physical Demands: Frequent standing, bending, walking, and moving around the hotel.
  • Lifting and Moving: Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Physical Strength and Stamina: Physical strength and stamina to work extended periods.
  • Availability: Availability to include weekends.
  • Prioritization and Time Management: Prioritization and time management skills.
