Role Overview:
This role is integral to a diverse team dedicated to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness within the healthcare facility, focusing on both aesthetic appeal and infection prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrate expertise in a variety of cleaning methods and restocking supplies across patient, staff, and visitor areas.
2. Exhibit proficiency in advanced cleaning techniques, particularly in critical areas such as Surgery, Labor & Delivery, NICU, and Emergency Room.
3. Engage with patients, visitors, and staff, adapting to varying levels of interaction.
4. Maintain a thorough understanding of safe chemical usage, equipment handling, and infection control practices to meet departmental quality standards.
5. Ensure the safe disposal of medical waste, including hazardous and regulated materials.
6. Utilize computer systems effectively as required by the role.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
Preferred:
- Vocational training and certification in a relevant field.
- At least 1 year of experience in housekeeping or custodial work within a healthcare or hospitality environment.
