Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the integration, assembly, test, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial x-ray systems. This role requires a minimum of three years of current experience in assembly and wiring of electrical controls and safety circuitry, as well as startups and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Fabrication and assembly of electrical control and safety circuits for new equipment and systems, including panel building, wiring, and testing.
  2. Wiring of custom systems, including electrical panel building, machine wiring, pulling wire, terminating, bending conduit, and wiring motors.
  3. Collaboration with the preparation and debugging of PLC or PC-based control programs.
  4. Performing tasks in accordance with US and European standards, as well as potentially customer-specific standards.
  5. Traveling to customer sites to install, troubleshoot/repair, and/or test systems (approximately 60% domestic travel).
  6. Performing miscellaneous duties, including clean-up, department organization, material movement, and forklift operation.
  7. Collaborating and providing mechanical system integration and assembly support.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Electrical concentration.
  2. Minimum 3 years of directly related hands-on experience in a field service role, as well as 2 years within a manufacturing environment.
  3. Proven experience in cutting, stripping, tinning, and crimping cable and harness.
  4. Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering documentation in AutoCAD.
  5. Must be a US citizen or permanent resident legally authorized to work in the US.
  6. Must be willing and able to successfully pass a complete background check and drug test.
  7. Must be available and willing to work extended hours and weekends.
  8. Prior experience working with BOMs and/or computerized MRP or ERP systems, preferably MS Dynamics.
  9. Prior experience and understanding of motion control design, PLC/PC programming, and distributed control theory.
  10. Working knowledge and experience with ISO and/or NQA-1 quality standards and procedures.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $100,000 annually, as well as benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k + match, and PTO.
